Definition of the guidelines
The above guidelines summarize user interface rules reviewed and proposed by CRX Project. “User interface” refers to all the expressions (e.g. terms, colors, shapes and feedbacks) for improving operability/usability for users.
Designers and technical writers from each CRX Project participant company are making efforts to incorporate the contents of the guidelines into product development on a daily basis in order to provide ease-of-use products. Furthermore, beyond the associated industries and corporations, we wish to increase in the number of user-friendly products by using the guidelines.
In a daily evolving information equipment, it is considered to be effective for getting users’ satisfaction to introduce consistent user interface policies of individual companies into products as soon as possible. We will update the guidelines in parallel with implementing the cycle of design, evaluation and correction quickly.
NOTE: Before using the guidelines.
